To celebrate the 110th anniversary of Bugatti the smallest model in the family is introduced: the Bugatti Baby. Almost 100 years after the creation of its predecessor, the Bugatti Baby has been developed using state-of-the-art technologies, while paying tribute to Bugatti's automotive heritage. Just like the original, this contemporary interpretation of Ettore Bugatti's masterpiece is produced in a strictly limited edition of just 500 vehicles. The Bugatti Baby offers driving pleasure for car lovers of all generations and the special flair of the classic Bugatti brand.
At about three-quarters of the size of the Bugatti Type 35 the Bugatti Baby can be driven in two selectable drive modes by both adults and children. For speed enthusiasts who want to be even faster, an optional "Speed Key" upgrade is available, which increases the power up to 10 kW. The Bugatti Baby has a battery-powered electric rear-wheel drive, replaceable lithium-ion batteries, a limited slip differential and regenerative braking.
The vehicle’s bodywork is painted in traditional French Racing Blue, while the typical eight-spoke aluminum rims are true-to-scale replicas of Ettore Bugatti's revolutionary design from 1924. The cockpit of the Bugatti Baby features the signature Bugatti dashboard crafted out of turned aluminum, a leather seat, a faithful recreation of the signature Type 35 four-spoke steering wheel and custom Bugatti-style instruments.
The smallest Bugatti model has a lot in common with its bigger siblings. The famous Bugatti logo called "Macaron" can be found standing proudly right at the Bugatti Baby's bonnet. It consists of 50g of pure silver – just like the Chiron’s. Each vehicle of this limited series arrives with a numbered plate, while another plaque commemorates the 110th anniversary of the Bugatti brand on all vehicles ordered in 2019.
In 1926 – on the occasion of the fourth birthday of Ettore Bugatti's youngest son Roland – Ettore and Jean built a Type 35 in the scale 1:2. The miniature version was initially planned as a one-off, but the response from customers visiting the plant in Molsheim was so positive that the small vehicle became an official Bugatti model.
Loved by Bugatti enthusiasts around the world, a Bugatti Baby is an integral part of any complete Bugatti collection. However, with only about 500 vehicles manufactured, very few are still in the hands of some lucky collectors. Until now.
