The story of BUGATTI’s La Voiture Noire is a renowned myth within the world of automotive. Created by Jean Bugatti, the black Type 57 SC Atlantic went missing at the beginning of the Second World War and was never seen again. In March 2019, BUGATTI’s Design team created a modern interpretation of this incredible vehicle for the 21st century.
From there, gifting the La Voiture Noire DNA to the CHIRON family came naturally: in 2021, BUGATTI offered its customers a CHIRON version in a new, exclusive configuration. The CHIRON Noire embodies the spirit and design elements of the legendary La Voiture Noire, carrying out an extraordinary line of automotive history.
The CHIRON Noire Sportive possesses a unique, sporty character that shines through each of the design elements, all of which are dominated by black gradients.
From the matte black finish of the exposed carbon fiber and outer body details to the “Noire” inscriptions that adorn the inlays of the center console and the headrests, through the aluminum trim parts of the interior, the Noire Sportive is phenomenal power in a shell of luxury and grace.
The Noire Élégance’s figure is covered in black exposed carbon, while the Caractère wheels show the calipers finished in black. The dark shade of the car’s body is underlined by the C-shaped BUGATTI line, which is finished in matte polished aluminum. Black carbon and polished aluminum can also be found on other exterior components such as the rearview mirror and engine cover.
The interior is entirely dominated by black, with the inner signature line in aluminum with a silk-matte finish being the only exception. “Noire” inscriptions adorn the side panels, the underside of the rear wing, the door sills, the outside of the center console, and the headrests.
Every element of the Noire Élégance spells out its exclusivity.
Powered by the iconic 8.0-liter 16-cylinder engine, the CHIRON Noire is technically based on the CHIRON Sport—a firm chassis setting and lightweight components, for a bold driving experience. This special-edition model is limited to 20 vehicles, all sold out.
